1- DaRoute Travel accepts bookings subject to the following Booking Conditions. A `Client` is all persons named on the booking form intending to travel with DaRoute Travel. A `Product` is any service sold by DaRoute Travel. All Clients will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all Booking Conditions. To confirm a booking DaRoute Travel requires that the agent has taken full payment of all monies due. A contract between the Client and DaRoute Travel comes into existence when DaRoute Travel has confirmed the booking in writing and issued a Confirmation. The person signing the booking form (that incorporates these terms and conditions) warrants that s/he has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and understand these terms and conditions. The said contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. No employees or representatives of DaRoute Travel have any right to alter, vary, or waive any of these terms and conditions, not to undertake any liability whatsoever on behalf of DaRoute Travel, unless such be in writing and signed by the Director of DaRoute Travel. DaRoute Travel reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion without further explanation.
2- The payment of the required deposit or full payment for a reservation on an escorted or independent tour package constitutes consent to all provisions of the terms and general information contained in this site. We will bill your credit card based on the daily exchange rate stated by the Central Bank of Turkey for the specific date of the transactions, which includes VAT tax in effect at present. We are not responsible for additional credit card fees or discrepancies assessed by your local bank.
BOOKING PROCEDURES DEPOSIT INDIVIDUAL HOTEL RESERVATIONS
A 25% deposit is required upon booking and the full balance will be charged 45 days before the arrival date.
ALL PACKAGE TOURS
A 25% deposit is required upon booking and the full balance will be charged 45 days before the arrival date of the commencement of the service.
CRUISE RESERVATIONS
A full non-refundable amount is required at the time of booking.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
Special Terms and Conditions will be issued at the time of booking based on different services to be rendered. However full balances are required 3 months before commencement of services.
CANCELLATION POLICY INDIVIDUAL HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Before 40 days to check in, 1 night charge will be applied. Before 20 days to check in, no refund will be given.
FOR ALL PACKAGES
If canceled after the first payment, 70% of the deposit will be charged as a penalty.
If canceled 44 days before arrival, 55% of the total amount of the package will be charged as a penalty.
If cancelled 30 days before arrival 65% of the total amount of the package will be charged as a penalty.
If canceled 29 days before arrival, no refund is given.
CRUISE RESERVATION
Not refundable if canceled within 50 days of departure.
REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES
Once a service has commenced, no refunds can be made for any specific tour, accommodation, sightseeing, or other services not taken. No refund is given for a partially used Product.
AIR TRANSPORTATION
Please consult your travel agent or the airline for the applicable penalties and/or restrictions. If passengers purchase non-refundable air tickets, DaRoute Travel cannot be responsible in the event a tour is canceled.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR RATES
Land rates do not include international flights between the countries and domestic flights in the country unless stated in the itinerary. Any expenses in the passport costs, visas, airport departure taxes, photography fees payable at admission sites, excess baggage, forwarding of baggage and souvenirs, meals not specified on the itineraries, all personal expenses incurred at the hotels, and the customary tips to drivers and guides, which are left to passengers discretion are not included.
CHANGES IN YOUR PROGRAM
DaRoute Travel reserves the right to change your current hotels, domestic flights, ferry, and bus tickets without notice as some situations are beyond our control. Extra fees and penalties will apply on any flight, hotel, tour, or schedule changes made by the clients during touring.
RESPONSIBILITY
DaRoute Travel is responsible for making all the arrangements for everything specified in the services and itineraries. All of the carriers, hotels, and other services provided that we bring together in our tours work as independent contractors and are not agents or employees of the company. Nevertheless, all of the services provided bear DaRoute Travel’s guarantee and responsibility for quality service, which we provide all of our customers with. All travel documents issued by DaRoute Travel, in written paraphernalia or to the customer, are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the laws of Turkey. In case any of the services included in our tour packages cannot be provided at the time of the tour for reasons beyond the control of the company, then DaRoute Travel is responsible for providing equally comfortable and interesting alternatives. Any difference resulting from the customer`s choice of the alternatives shall be payable by the customer during their stay. Luggage is carried at the owner`s risk and luggage insurance is recommended.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Adequate insurance is mandatory for all Clients to cover at least but not limited to medical and repatriation expenses, loss of luggage, and cancellation or curtailment of a Product and should not exclude any planned adventure activities from the time of booking for the full duration of the Product as a minimum. A Client and his personal belongings are the sole responsibility of himself. DaRoute Travel accepts no liability on the Client`s behalf where DaRoute Travel has provided a Product of reasonable standard. Clients are fully responsible for arranging their insurance.
LIABILITY OF DaRoute Travel
DaRoute Travel Products and in particular, adventure activities, contain an element of risk to the personal safety of the Client that other package holidays may not contain. By accepting these Booking Conditions Clients are aware of the risks inherent in their chosen travel and Clients undertake such risks of their own volition. DaRoute Travel accepts no liability for Client`s damages where DaRoute Travel has fulfilled its Duty of Care to Clients by providing Products of a reasonable standard. DaRoute Travel accepts no liability if there has been no fault on the part of DaRoute Travel or its suppliers, and the reason for the claimed damages was either the Client`s fault or a result of unusual circumstances beyond the control of DaRoute Travel by force majeure and the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care.
In respect of carriage by air, sea, and rail and the provision of accommodation, DaRoute Travel`s liability in the said cases will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international conventions. DaRoute Travel accepts no liability if additional costs to the Client are incurred through delay, accident, or disruption of the Product(s) beyond the control of DaRoute Travel by force majeure.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
It is the responsibility of the Clients to have a valid passport, visa permits, vaccinations, preventative medicines, and other medical certificates and all necessary travel documents. DaRoute Travel is not liable for damages arising from changes in regulations or laws to the necessary travel document requirements. Information about these matters is given in good faith by DaRoute Travel but without liability.
HEALTH AND CONDUCT
All Clients are expected to satisfy themselves before booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their chosen tour as described in the brochure. Any Clients with pre-existing medical conditions or illness must declare the true nature of such conditions at the time of booking, and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Such a client is required to provide a medical statement from a General Practitioner to confirm they are fit to travel. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and relieve DaRoute Travel from any obligations and liability.
CLIENT EXCLUSION AND LOCAL LAW
Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of DaRoute Travel and its supplier`s employees and representatives whilst on tour. If in the opinion of such persons, the health or conduct of a Client before or after the departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable, or happy progress of the tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without prior notice or any liability on the part of DaRoute Travel. In the case of the Client’s ill health, DaRoute Travel may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the Client. Passengers agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries they travel. DaRoute Travel shall not be liable to any Clients who commit illegal or unlawful acts whilst on tour.
